Enssi Jokinen

Enssi is a finnish vampire, and the eldest son of Juhana Jokinen, whose coven rules the nordic countries. As the eldest child, Enssi was raised to be the next coven leader (when his father decides to step down or die.. neither of which are going to happen anytime soon), and is quite mature and responsible. He's quite a gentleman and level-headed. He has a younger brother, Iivari, whom he doesn't get along with very well (mostly due to Iivari having problems with him, Enssi himself tries to be a good big brother). When his father remarries, he gets a stepsister, Ourania, and three more younger siblings, Zacharias, Vasilios and Esteria. He's very fond of Esteria. 

He has a tattoo of the letter 'E' in a spade on his hand, which is the mark of the firstborn son and the sign of the coven leader. Being a vampire, he hates sunlight and garlic, avoiding both at all costs. He visited Japan to seek out an alliance with the Macel coven, in which during his visit, he met Celia Winterfield, another vampire.
